Summary
Mario and Co. arrive in the Research Center's atrium, where a distressed Codey paces nearby trying to reach his sister. The group splits up to explore the exhibits, leaving Mario on his own until he chooses to approach Codey.
Scene 1 - INT. Atrium
FADE IN
An establishing shot begins panning from the right, first showing Codey nervously pacing in the corner, staring at a device. A text bubble appears as the camera pans by that opens and closes without player interaction.
CODEY: "C'mon, c'mon! Is this thing broken or something? Sis, why aren't you answering?!" As the camera reaches the other side of the atrium, Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toadsworth enter from the left, walking and observing the various exhibits available at the event.
PEACH: "Oh, I don't even know where to start! This all looks magnificent!"
LUIGI: "Before I do anything, I'm gonna go find the professor. I'll catch you guys in a bit."
Luigi takes off running out of frame to the left.
RESEARCHER (off screen): "Princess! You're finally here! Come quick! I've got something you'll definitely be interested in!"
PEACH: "Oh, sure. I'll be right over!"
Peach steps out of frame to the right toward the researcher's voice. Toadsworth follows closely behind. Mario is now left to explore the event alone.
The player can check out any of the various exhibits at the convention and talk to the researchers. The story will move forward once they decide to speak with Codey.
After talking to Codey again, transitions to: 04 - Disaster in Gearonia!
